“A lovely couple of days were spent at Heath Lodge during the half term holidays with my partner and her daughter. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts Lynne and Mike. They even created a ‘triple room’ to accommodate us in one room. The room was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. We had the use of the lounge and free use of the wi-fi which was very useful as my phone signal was poor. It is my understanding that Heath Lodge is a grade II listed building. It is a beautiful property with amazing Gothic windows in a very peaceful and pretty setting in its own large grounds with plenty of off road parking. We were lucky enough to have some October sunshine and were able to sit outside the front of the house to admire the views across the Tamar Valley. If you like a traditional English Breakfast you will certainly not be disappointed. During our stay we visited Cotehele House and gardens owned by the National Trust. This property is just 3 miles away from the B&B and in my opinion well worth a visit. If you were feeling energetic you could even walk there from Heath Lodge. The grounds are very dog friendly (as is the b&b) and the mediaeval house, circa 1300, is an incredible piece of local history. All in all our visit to Cornwall was wonderful and we can thoroughly recommend Heath Lodge and the local area including the lovely town of Tavistock which is just a 10 minute drive away. Thank you Lynne & Mike for making our stay very enjoyable” – Jon McCarthy, November 2014 (Via Tripadvisor)

“Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Heath Lodge. It was just as good as our first stay. Thank you Lynne and Mike for your walm welcome to us and our springer spaniel Topsy. Our accomodation was clean and spotless. Our cooked breakfasts excellent. Our bed was so comfy I wanted to bring it home with me! A perfect B&B in a perfect setting. A really lovely place to stay. I highly recommend it” – Julie S, September 2014 (Via Tripadvisor)

“Reviewers have said ‘nothing’s too much trouble’ for the owners and this was true as Mike and Lynn made us feel very welcome right from the start. We would have put on weight if we had eaten all that was offered for breakfast which was beautifully cooked (Yum,Yum). The rooms are clean and have a tasteful, homely décor. There was tea and coffee laid out in the lounge plus biscuits and goodies if you felt peckish. Loved the large bathroom which had an amazing shower. The bed was very comfortable and fresh. Beautiful setting as well. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely recommend it. My partner, being an avid cat lover, was in his element! A very big thank you from Vince and Marie” – September 2014 (Via Tripadvisor)
